PS 315X – Our Lady of Angels Parochial School Conversion, Bronx, NY – DVL was the Engineer of Record for this major conversion project which modified the spaces within an existing Catholic school to a PS/IS public school for the NYC School Construction Authority. This school was designed to accommodate classroom spaces from kindergarten though eighth grade for approximately 250 children and included kitchen, cafeteria, gymatorium, library, music and special education classrooms. Specific to this project, as modifications were being made throughout, it was determined that one floor would be completely replaced adding complexity to the overall approach and design.
