DVL Consulting Engineers, Inc. is a dynamic and diverse engineering firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering design for both the public and private sectors and for projects of varying scopes and sizes. DVL is licensed and certified in the States of New York and New Jersey and provides engineering design for interior systems such as heating, ventilation and cooling units, electrical power, lighting, sanitary and storm drainage, fire protection and detection systems and much more. We also provide a specialty service in construction administration. Our direct oversight over every project we engage in through project completion ensures that all project goals are met and that optimal coordination is achieved. We provide construction administration also as a standalone service to assist contractors, building owners and architects during the construction process.
History
Throughout the course of our 25 years in the construction industry, we have engaged in the design and development of many facilities for a variety of usages and occupancy needs. DVL has designed systems for major new and existing construction in New Jersey and New York and also worked with various government agencies to improve building functionality and create a basis for best engineering practices throughout the area. As part of these major construction efforts and also part of remediation projects, DVL Consulting Engineers, Inc. has been responsible for initial surveys of building systems to develop the initial design concepts and to outline the extent of work required to achieve project goals. We also have been responsible for determining initial obstacles in the creation or modification of interior building systems, and provide full construction administration support services to issue immediate solutions to field/construction conditions that arise. As a partner in the construction process, DVL has provided analyses to balance cost, efficiency, sustainability and schedule, including developing expertise in construction phasing. We have also consistently challenged ourselves to envision new approaches and new technologies that can improve the construction process and consistently develop unique engineering solutions to the most complex and challenging buildings and landscapes in the area.
