NJ Training School
DVL Consulting Engineers, Inc. provided HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems design for two (2) new 144 bed (each), medium security buildings for the NJSPS Department of Building and Construction. These two facilities were designated to house either violent or nonviolent offenders and as such utilized specific regulations for systems design to deter further violence or escape attempts. Aside from housing, these facilities were also provided with educational and training spaces to account for the age of detainees.
