LaGuardia Airport
Concourse "B" Security Bypass - This Security Bypass at LaGuardia Airport was initially integrated into the airport as a temporary provision to enhance passenger movement for those intending to travel from other terminals in the Airport. The goal was to allow them to be sheltered from inclement weather and provide direct access to other terminals in a high comfort and security controlled environment. The success of the Concourse “B” Security Bypass resulted in this temporary provision now being a permanent fixture which was seamlessly integrated into the airport space. DVL Consulting Engineers, Inc. was responsible for the systems upgrades necessary to complete this project which included design of electrical and fire protection systems.
